About this Event

Join CB Jackson for a one-man performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at Christchurch Mansion on 11 and 12 December 2026 from 7pm to 9.30pm.

Playing every character himself, Jackson brings Dickens’ much-loved festive tale to life, from the counting house of Ebenezer Scrooge to the chilling arrival of Marley’s Ghost and the visit of the Ghost of Christmas Past. As the story unfolds, familiar characters including Bob Cratchit, Belle and Scrooge himself appear in a faithful retelling of this Christmas classic.

CB Jackson has toured this production across East Anglia and performed it on BBC Radio. The historic setting of Christchurch Mansion’s Great Hall provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of festive theatre.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. The performance is suitable for ages 10+.

This event takes place in the Great Hall on the ground floor of Christchurch Mansion. For information about access, facilities and planning your visit, please see Access at Christchurch Mansion.
