The live animals are back for a Christmas! Join us for a special festive edition of Amazing Animals on Monday 21 December. Find out more about a range of animals, how they adapt and survive in their environments, and how humans have an impact on their worlds. There will be a range of animals to meet including rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamster, gerbils, hedgehog, sugar gliders and more! Nine animals will be chosen depending on how happy they are on the morning.

Parents and carers are required to stay with their children throughout the session. The event is recommended for children aged three and above, as those under three will not be able to handle the animals.

All adults and children attending must purchase a ticket. Babies in arms do not need a ticket, but they will not be permitted to touch the animals.

Each session is limited to 40 participants due to space restrictions in the Great Hall. Staff reserve the right to turn away anyone who has not booked. Please ensure that every member of your group has a valid ticket before arriving.
