About this Event

Event running from 10am – 3pm.

Join us for Biodiversity Discovery Day on Wednesday, 28 October and bring along your exciting finds to share with a range of experts, as represented by the Ipswich Maritime Trust. Specialists in natural history, geology, archaeology and astronomy will be on hand to help identify and discuss your objects. You’ll also have the chance to meet museum staff and learn more about the collections while the museum is closed for redevelopment.

For younger visitors, our Terrifying Toddlers sessions offer Halloween-themed free play, crafts and storytelling designed especially for under 5s. This fun and educational day is suitable for all ages and perfect for curious minds.

This event will take place across the ground floor and is fully accessible. For useful information, such as how to find us and what facilities Christchurch Mansion has, we recommend reading our Access information: Access at Christchurch Mansion
