About this Event

Explore your artistic side and create your own ‘powerful portrait’!

Join our workshop to hone your drawing skills and uncover the secrets of portraiture. Be inspired by the Mansion’s paintings and our new exhibition, An Eye for Life: Photography by John Ferguson, to create your cartoon selfie. Infuse your portraits with personal significance and hidden narratives.

Don’t miss this chance to unleash your creativity and refine your artistry. This workshop is suitable for ages 7+. Younger children are welcome but may not be able to fully participate in the session. Parents/carers must remain with their children throughout.

The duration for each session will be 45 minutes. The bookable times are for 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM.

The workshop will take place in the Great Hall, accessible to all and on the ground floor. The artist will supply all materials, and instruction and support will be provided.
