About this Exhibition

The Ipswich Art Society has held its Annual Open Exhibition since 1874, pausing only for the two World Wars and more recently the Covid-19 pandemic. This spring marks its return and their 143rd year!

A selection of artworks from the public, as well as the Friends and Members of Ipswich Art Society, will celebrate local creativity.

Alongside the Open is a special feature exhibition showcasing Society members Judith Foster and Claire Lambert, whose work can be found in national and international private and public collections.

The exhibition will be followed by Borders, a collaboration between the Ipswich and Colchester Art Societies: Borders | Ipswich Art Gallery
